New Owner - USB adapter

Featured Replies

Hey. Just got my wife a six month old silver SE. Lovely little car. Suspect the Roomster may stay in the drive for a bit. Anyway.. was reading the manual for the radio and found an intriguing sentence at the back referring to a USB Adapter for playing media. Was wondering was this is and if it is an easy install.

Can't help, but that would be good. It disappoints me that MDI and DAB are not optional on the Citigo.

Unless the UK get a different radio than we do, the only option is the AUX input - alternatively a Micro SD card or via Bluetooth if you have the PID (MOVE&FUN unit).

Yeah, if you have a PID it has a memory card slot and your music can be contained on there.

In the european accessories catalogue (page 5) there is mention of a USB adapter (1ST 051 435) that can be fitted near the rear central cup holder (behind hand brake). Acording to Skoda UK and the local dealer it is not a valid part No.

USB charger for

electronic appliances;

max. voltage 5V

if you look on the Up! accessories there is a different radio unit that has a USB port to plug an iPod etc

Looks like a USB Charger ONLY, not a USB input ??
