Updated clutch

Featured Replies

So I'm getting my fabia mapped on the 23rd, not expecting my clutch to last long as I like to drive my car hard and have a few track days planned, wanting to upgrade my clutch to

Obviously cope with the torque but not wanting to spend thousands, what's the best clutch to go for and what's the benefit of converting to an SMF?

They can handle more torque. But a lot have said the SMF 'chatter' is annoying. Although a few have said it isn't all that bad.

Single mass are generally more reliable then the standard dual mass, depending on what one you go for are generally noisier, I ran a sachs updated clutch and standard dual mass and that was fine tbh, though if you do lots of miles the dual mass will need replacing sooner, if your on standard turbo the standard clutch should hold out for a while even with a map,

Where you getting it mapped out of curiosity?
