FORS SALE - Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones

Featured Replies

Do you get a free hi-fi with that, Cliff? ;)

If they're new and bought direct from Bose why not get them to take them back. I had a pair of QC2 when they were the current model -I did't like them so got them to give me a refund.

I understand the sentiment brimdog.

When I heard they had a £300 RRP I assumed you must actually replace your ears with them.

However after using them they are truly amazing.

The fact they can cancel out the noise of a very loud Dyson whilst I was hoovering...err...um...I mean drown out a chainsaw...grrrr....manly stuff...changed my mind.

That said I just can't justify having that amount of money sat dormant while I'm not hoovering...dammit... I mean chainsawing!

They'd be a perfect buy and money well spent for anyone who does large amounts of travelling on trains or airplanes and wants peace and quiet; or i guess for parents who would like to bring the old adage that "kids should be seen but not heard" to life!! :)

They're also brilliant for bus travel, except they might get nicked. I'd have them but I am far from flush lately!

Interested. How long have you had them and will you supply the invoice for warranty purposes?

They were purchased by my other half through a discounted offer/scheme at her work (hence the discounted price offered here) with a view to her using them on a load of business trips this year.

Those business trips subsequently were cancelled so the purchase has somewhat become redundant so she's looking to sell them on.

I'll ask about the warranty/proof of purchase and see waht i can find out

While we do now have a copy of a receipt for the headphones it turns out her work being the giant multinational that they are purchased them in the US.

There obviosuly won't be anything down the route to point of purchase route; however I'd imagine Bose should honour the manufacturer warranty.

Thanks for reply.

I'm not sure how the warranty will work so I'll stick with UK sourced. They're widely available here for £270 so I'll grab a new pair with UK warranty.

Good luck with sale.

What if i sid £200?

I'd have gone for that a couple of days ago but I've since ordered a pair on Amazon.com for $299 which is roughly £200. All I need to do now is wait for my mate to take them home when he visits early next month. Rip off Britain or what??
