  • Right..... I think sometimes when building a car, with an ultimate aim in mind, you have to start with something as close to your intentions, before starting the build. I haven't done that.... I ha

Unfortunately that's the "scene" at the moment... every motor is stanced / dubbed / etc. You only need to look through car magazines like Fast Car to see that it's spread like a virus - even rally-bred cars (such a Scoobies) are being 'bagged, put on 20's and smoothed out.

It's either a case of people running out of new ideas, or they're just too lazy and copy the "trends." It's one of the reasons I've gone bat**** mental with my car...

Unfortunately Generation Z, with their "hipster yolo swagger" and top-knot haircuts seem to be a bunch of boring sheep, more concerned with iPhone apps and such nonsense.

Just keep doing what you're doing - extreme modders will be victorious!

Love this car....what I would try and do if I had the money and the skills.

Do you use this as your everyday car or have something else? Can imagine the looks you must get...

To allow more air flow through the rad pack, I intend to box it all in when I redesign the front splitter, and may just cut that whole section of bumper out.

Ahh ty for that...I was getting slightly confused

Totally agree about the scene, people buying fast cars and then making them undriveable just doesn't appeal to me which is why I've not been to a show in 3 years. When someone does something different like yourself though the band wagon jumpers are out in force slagging it off for being different. I personally love what you've done with this though mate its a refreshing change.

Tyrolsport front subframe locking kit arrived today, will give a short review of them once fitted. Look very nicely made, which is always a good start!

Why whats he done wrong now?

Long and short. The subframe is knocking its head off. Brought a tyrolsport subframe kit to rectify... And stripped the thread out of the body for the outer console bolt.... Its an 18mm... Its important.... PITA
