One month in...

Have covered 3k miles some I bought a nearly new tsi vrs estate. The boys in Mansfield worked their magic on it within the first week, which is deeply impressive as good expect. What I didn't expect was being 40+ Mpg on a sensible motorway run, which means business trips are slightly profitable. Even more encouraging is the thus far complete lack of oil consumption, despite it having frequently been given a good workout.

Only downside is the sporty engine and exhaust note has vanished. All I'm left with is an unpleasant metallic whooshing sound not unlike a sewing machine under full throttle, most disappointing. At some point then I'll fit a RARB, milltek exhaust and perhaps some coilovers one the warranty had expired in a couple of years time.
