Remap smoke

Featured Replies

No it doesn't matter how many times it's done, as a new map will overwrite the old one.

You can bring it to us, or we have 2 dealers near to you who you could use if you prefer. All the mapping is still done by us regardless of which dealer you go to.

Mine produces hardly any smoke but it was a good well written custom map. ;D

Thanks shark, can you send me the details of your closer to me centres?

I just washed the car, and the back end was black with the fumes. I want to book it in ASAP.

I see you have had your EGR deleted, some one else mentioned that I should look into doing that...what is it and is it hard to do?

Exhaust Gas Recycling - as the name sort of suggests, it puts some of the exhaust back in the inlet.

Is it hard to do, and how much would a garage charge for it?

We delete the EGR in software free of charge and blanking it takes around 30 mins - £36 inc vat.

Our dealer list can be found at www.sharkperformance.co.uk/dealers

Do you have a BLT or ASZ engine mate?

Either way it can be turned of in the software.
