But, does anybody know the cheapest place to get the PD160 intake trumpet and pipe?

I rang up Seat the other day and they're now charging a crazy price. The bloke even asked if it was for a Fabia, so they must have rasied the price after cottoning on to the upgrade.

And ebay has one (trumpet and pipe) for £110 plus postage and another seller has it for £97 including postage.

Any ideas?

Some pop up on here secondhand for around 60 notes. I think darkside also sell them for 65 + vat + postage. There is a good guide on here for a home made one too which looks oem and is more like £30 to make.

I read through an article about these, don't they cause a reduction in performance on the 130pd fabia vrs?

Keep thinking about 1 myself but prob follow the detailed home made 1 at that price now! When I first looked were about £60!!!

i got one second hand off here few weeks ago, payed 60 for it. . .

deffo made a difference to throttle response and less smoke when i boot it.

The price is controlled by the dealers, plain and simple. You can sell it for near enough the same you bought it for, maybe more if you keep it long enough. Few other mods hold their value like that.
