BIG MPH - It can be done on VRS's 2012 onwards.

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Just to confirm I had the BIG MPH unlocked and it does work fine on VRS's with Maxidot.

My car is a 2013 so go get it done :).

I have seen some posts on here worrying about it not working so I thought I'd confirm that it does.

Love it!

Can a dealer do this simply or is it complicated? Thanks for the tip :-)

A nice guy on the forum kindly done it for me. Dealers won't do it as its a 'modification'.

If you ask the guys on here around your area one may pop up with VAG-COM to help you out.

Its a 5 min job.

Erm, is this something to do with the speedo display? Or have you unlocked a speed limiter?

I think you change it to the australian setting or something? but as others have said, can be done :)

can be done from 2010 plates as i also have those options. The needle sweep came standard on mine :p

Yeah, I just read somewhere in the VAG COM section that people were having trouble with there fabia Vrs's and programming it....

Mainly about the fact that the Maxi-dot was not displaying Alt Spd Dis. and Dig Spd Dis. after they had done it.

You don't get them options normally on the system but once unlocked, they appear in the menu.

I also saw that people had tried it on 2012 and it had failed so I can confirm that its defiantly not the car but some other reason.

Is this for people who can't read an analogue speedo?

Only kidding ;)
