Great engine that obviously can be flawed and having increasing failures.

Were those voting for this engine fully aware, or is it just some of the over 1.0 - 1.4 engines might be even worse in their failures.

That's because this competition didn't include anything about reliability or failure rates...

It's won its class several years on the trot but it is all about innovation and performance rather than reliability as you say. I will be interested to see how the twinair and ecoboost engines fare with a few miles on them
