i posted an ad yesterday about this. i have since bin in my car this morning and have noticed it only makes the clunking noise when the steering is on full lock to the right, when its on full lock to the left its fine. it also only makes the clunking noise when i start to move but when im sat still and turning the steering from side to side there is no noise.

Sounds like cv joint to be honest. If its full lock to the right it means the left side is gone (I think)
