She's here at last :-)

Featured Replies

Well she's here at last. Hasn't been that long a wait - I ordered her shortly after Christmas but I was nearly bursting with anticipation.

1.8Tsi Elegance 4x4 with one or two boxes on the options list ticked when the Mrs wasn't looking :-)

Know where you are. Lived in (Peter)Culter for a number of years. Lovely old granite building on North Deeside Road. Most solid house I think I've ever lived in!

Enjoy your Superb!

Aye - some cracking houses along Nth Deeside RD. Although many of residents there are Audi people as they have too much money to consider Skoda as being the smarter buy :-)

Well I hope Wales do win otherwise my colleagues who've gone up there for the weekend will be miserable as sin in work on Monday! !

Not necessarily - us lot tend to get on very well with you lot so no matter who wins it'll be a cracking day. That's the difference between Rugby and Football!! ;-)

Well I've never got either game tbh :giggle:

i think skoda are the same as vw as audi, they can and are making better cars than them the superb beets the passat hands down i think and the boot opening on the superb just blows the passat out of the water, the running gear and engines are identical and the superb is bigger than it too

That's why I bought a new Superb rather than a used A6 for more money. Tested a Passat and thought very little of it!

That is exactly what I thought. Audi's are nice but are they worth the extra outlay? If you are more loaded than me and money is no object then fine, but I specified an Audi on their configurator to the same as my Superb l&k and I was gobsmacked to see £47,000. WHIT! And I could not even configure it to have the same heated and electric seat for the passenger or heated seats at the back. £900 for TV are they serious? Some of the prices for other extras is laughable.

To think I came very close to buying an Audi A6. Glad I used my head on this one.

`WHIT` ?

`WHIT` ?

Mondo, Smiffy and I all get it. We have our own language north of the border, you know (and I don't mean gaelic!) Let me look (make) it up for you in my Scots / English dictionary.

'Whit' defn. An expression of shock or surprise; often verging on incredulity. A derivative of the word 'what', most commonly used when one wishes to be particularly emphatic.

Ah, I thought it was one of these annoying abbreviations.

WHIT` ?

Sorry, I forget sometimes that you English are the only people who speak correctly out of the whole planet. :giggle:

And don't get me started on Cockney rhyming slang, as that is just a load of Jackson Pollocks (had to look that one up).
