Hi em light came on other day had checked came up with p1296 coolant system maulfunction. Reading on internet it was pointing towards coolant temp sensor. Had replaced 80miles later back it comes. Has anybody got any idea wats next? I did read about the expansion tank? Cheers jonathan

Did you fit an OEM dual temperature sender or an aftermarket one?

Thanks for reply, not too sure it was was from a proper vag supplier was a green 1. Any ideas wether thermostat would throw light on?
