White Octavia Scout

Featured Replies

Although I like white cars, I've never warmed to white Scouts, with their grey cladding they looked a little 'basic'.

This one on eBay though has changed my view, the gunmetal grey refurb on the alloys sets it off really well!

Hmmm, ex police car and no pics of the inside!

I bet it wasn't the police that refurbed the alloys but I do like them in Anthracite ;-)

Good spot Pete, with investigative work like that are you sure you aren't in the Police yourself!?

No wonder the alloys were refurbed!

Debadged too. Rear end prang?

It just looked ex plod so I Googled the reg number and voila.....

Tailgate was liveried so presumably the badges were removed when that was fitted, seems the norm with police stuff.

EDIT: Just noticed the Autotrader listing does actually say ex police, I have only just noticed that, honest!

Ssshhhhhh, it's only coincidence that Batman was thee film in the cinema when the MD started the company ;-)

Very late pre-fl, has fl tail lights and mirrors.

That would be ideal to carry the dogs!! :)

Must admit they do look good in White. Don't see them much down here plain as they are all Paramedic vehicles.

The badges are often removed to aid fitment of decals, it does look good in white thou.

As Pete T said just seen post !

And the facelift interior. Scouts are rare. The pre-FL and FL mix versions are even rarer!

No interior shots, Im guessing thers a few holes where things have been fitted for plod

On the front end shot there certainly looks to be something big and heavy bolted to the centre console/dash!

+1, we have both, I have a vRS and the wife a Scout.

The vRS is fast, the Scout is so comfy with it's softer suspension, smaller alloys and higher profile tyres.

Having both cars is not good. I like them both for different reasons so don't have a clue when the time comes whether I should replace my vRS with a Scout or get another vRS :giggle:

Scout + DPf delete, remap & some better tyres, it really is fun. The suspension may appear soft but can be worked really hard & it just hangs on, I ran with a 308 Ferrari through the Alps last year, agreed an old Fezza but it was being driven as it should be, no museum piece & regular track day car. I was as quick as him apart from on the straights. Re changing Im guessing the VRS will be cheaper so that might be a factor to add into the thought process, remember head, not heart when it comes to money
