Help please.....

Just been looking at a July '12 plate hatchback vrs & I don't think that it has maxidot, 'cos the info screen has the font (?) in italic script.

The car seems to be quite well equipped with xenons, rear privacy glass & auto-dimming interior mirror over & above the usual vRS specification, but AFAIK maxidot is still an option, according to the only 2012 brochure that I can find.

So is this just likely to be the normal info display or a new version of maxidot?

(I can't get back to the dealer until thursday so I can't ask the obvious question!)

Just go for a viewing even with out maxidot sounds highly speced. When viewing car just turn ignition on and hold windscreen wipper rocker swith down for 3 secondsish. This should bring up a submenu if its maxidot. If its a normal trip comp itll do nothing.

IF its got all the rest I would be very surprised it didnt have maxidot. Do what mattytemp says

Its highly specced as it is. The lack of maxidot wouldn't put me off it as the other options are all more useful and desirable (in my opinion).

If it doesnt have maxidot just tell the dealer youll buy it if they change the dash cluster, an easy job. That said i dont think id be overly bothered if i were buying a used car that didnt have it; main function is as a trip computer and the basic setup works well enough
