Found the site while looking for details of roof racks for an Oct TDi estate (no rails). Found details of roofbox.co.uk and can recommend them as being very helpful, prompt and reasonably priced. I can't say the same for the Thule 4305 roof rack set. It gives no impression of quality and looks as if it will last about 5 minutes. Sadly it will have to go back so if anyone has a recommendation for a decent roof rack I would be very grateful. Ideally a quick-fit type and with bars about 130 cm long. (It gets used most weekends for boat carrying duty).

Given my life again I would have a car with roof rails. (Also one of those clever arm rests that folds down to let the oars stick through would be nice just like my old Cavalier).

I ordered from roofbox.co.uk yesterday at midday and goods were delivered 9am today. They seem very helpful and efficient BUT when I spoke to them on the phone, they told me the item I had on screen on their website didn't exist so I'd have to order it off their website.

Welcome to Briskoda. :wavey: I was very impressed with The Roofbox Company when I used them a couple of years ago.
