Will these wheels fit?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Im looking for another set of 16" wheels to fit to my fabia as the standard ones are looking quite sorry for themselves now and I also want to do some track days. So I think that having a specific set of wheels+tyres for this is a good idea, as when I have done them on road tyres they very quickly overheat and the track eats the sidewalls...

Sorry for another "Will these wheels fit" thread but to be honest, I have no idea what wheels will fit my Fabia vRS on a 06.

So will these wheels fit?

Many thanks, im sure your all sick to death of answering this question.

Yes

Yes they should fit straight on. et44 will tuck in abit more than standard wheels book, says et45 is highest you should go. You can get 10mm spacers to bring them roughly back to standard fitment but they will be ok without if you are on standard brakes still.

Also 205/40/17 tyres should be fitted.

16" . . .5x100. . .they will fit yep.

Are they 16 or 17 :S the title says 16 but in the write up it says wheel fitment is 7jx17

Thats why i mentioned tyres.

Im going to sound really dim now but can you explain to me what the "et44" and "et45" actually means? would the spacers bring them "out" from the car as I think the standard wheels could do with being further away from the car. If that makes sence?

I am on standard brakes, yes.

Thanks for the replies though guys,

So if i fitted the 10mm spacers like you suggest, would I need to buy new wheel bolts? and If so where can I get some from?

Sorry for the millions of questions. I have never changed wheels before...

Many thanks,

What is the standard alloy et?

They will go straight on, just swap your tires over. If you feel the alloys are hidden in the arches you can always fit spacers at a later date
