I'm looking to disable the auto boot lock on my 08 pre FL Octavia having locked my keys in my boot yesterday. Luckily I was at home and so I had my spare to hand but it really bugs me that the boot locks automatically if closed without having opened the doors.

I've just used my genuine cable and set the rear door security lock off in the 09 module but it doesn't seem to have changed anything. Is there something else I should be doing please?

Can I also set my CH/LH function to use the fogs to save the Xenons as I couldn't see it as an option?

Finally my instrument cluster uses short coding (pre FL cluster), so I presume I can't get it to show oil temperature?

The last two I'm pretty sure aren't possible on pre-FL cars. Sorry.

No idea on the boot locking issue as its not something I've looked at.

Thanks kb, yes I kind of figured this for the last two but I'm hopeful on the first one given there is an apparent option!

There are options for all sorts all over the place - doesn't mean it will work though!

For example, my BT module has an option to sort by first name (but it won't work).
