LOL,,,,,,,,,, looks like somebody never fully applied the handbrake.

Typical Lexus driver - saw one today with a private plate ending OAP, and he was!!

Friend did that at work with his RX-8, came out at night and found it in the hedge!!

Defo no handbrake there's a definate incline

As seb said it cant be the handbrake as it could only have rolled backwards

It was like that for over half an hour atleast

Wasn't this same guy from today was it? :D

Just park anywhere, it's OK, I've got a BMW.

the incline is to the left, so it could only have rolled forwards ;)

The probably thought 'Its a Lexus, these things park themself..ill just leave the handbrake off and leave it to it'

Its not mate, looks slightly like that from the camera angle but i had a good look when i was walking past and the space behind the car actualy has a slight drop into it so im 90% certain it could only have rolled backwards

Im thinking a colluege or something has borrowed his keys at lunch nd moved it to give him a fright when he went to drive home

Iv seen the top gear where they tried the self parking lexus and that explains alot......

Yplac.com is full of intetesting efforts, worth a flick through if bored but ignore some of the overly exageratted comments.

Would it not have an electronic handbrake anyway?

^ pet hate on newish cars. Gadgetry for gadgets sake.

^ Me too. Friend with an Audi A5 had his fail on him - stuck on so couldn't drive away, had to get them out to it.

Was very pleased to see my Superb came with a good old fashioned handle

good old fashioned normal handbrake on the IS, no excuse for that shocking parking tho!

One explanation i have seen for odd parking has been,

parked when snow was on the ground, or left because of ice,

could be in the evening and left where it was, next to another parked car, then it thawed.

people arrive the next day and park properly.

Not saying that happened here, but could have, depends if there had been a covering of snow before.
