Variable Service not working :(

Featured Replies

Strange one really. I would like to know if someone has had something similar and what was done about it.

Basically, when I bought my car it was set to 1 year fixed / 10,000 miles and I had its first service under my ownership done as a 1 year fixed. Because of the extra mileage I am doing now I decided that this time around I would have a 2 year / variable service. This has been done by a Skoda dealer and its been back in 3 times as they are resetting the car and its still saying 365 days / 10,000 mile until next service.

The dealer technicians are scratching their heads at the moment as they haven't seen it before. I have been in the workshop and seen them do it so I know they aren't having me on! A bit more info is that when the car goes in it is reading as set to 2 year / variable servicing but the dash display says otherwise.

HELP! :)

Car is under warranty for next 6 months so I am hoping they will find what it is a repair it.

Cheers

Sean

They need to reset service interval via VAS and NOT via the dashboard. It's not rocket science

They have been using the computer to do it not the dash. They seem to know what they are doing as I suppose it something they do every day of every week. My car is just refusing to go from a fixed service to variable lol

Find someone local with VCDS to do it for you ...........
