Dealers have told me not to retrofit a Maxidot into Facelift Octavia VRS

Featured Replies

Went to Azur Skoda in Chichester today to seek advice about retrofitting a Maxidot display into my 09 facelift Octavia VRS. They said not to do it as "it's not meant to be in that car", which i found rather odd.

They said that they had only changed one before and now weeks later they are still trying to rectify all the problems it has caused, but without success.

Can anybody confirm please if it can definitely be swapped, and what problems could be likely if it is?

P.s. They also quoted the new Maxidot at £513.01 + vat, and "around" 2 hours labour to fit it !!
