I was filling up with diesel last night in my VRS, notcied a flap bout inch into to filer hose which goes to fuel tank. Does anyone know what this does.

Also what do people think of Contact Sport 2 tyres? Does anyone else find a lot of stones getting thrown up into arches? Whats the expected mileage out a set of front tyre on VRS?

I got 18k out of mine including 5 laps of silverstone. Just depends on your driving I guess as some have gone through a set within 12k

I think my contacts sports are very average mate. Quite good in warm dry conditions, progressivley worse in damp, to p##s poor in the wet stuff. They seem to disperse standing water ok, but grip levels fall short of a modern tyre. Just my opinion. I have fitted Bridgestone Potenza S02 pole positions on my heavily modded 306 hdi estate and they transformed the car. They are my next tyres for the Fabia. They don't know wet weather, it's as if it's dry all the time. The pug throws down about 150bhp and 330nm and the wheels don't spin unless you really provoke them.

Funky tread pattern too.
