Vauxhall Mokka

Our local Vauxhall dealer were doing a stand at the supermarket this morning and had the Mokka and Adam for people to look around. Having considered waiting for the Mokka when looking round last year (before getting a black Yeti Urban) I thought I'd have a look.

First thoughts are that I really am not impressed with the build quality. The drivers door on my Yeti feels like a hefty solid lump, the Mokka feels like tin foil. The centre console is also a mess of cheap looking plastic buttons. Can't help myself from looking round other cars even though the Yeti is only 6 months old (I'll probably look at the new Octavia later), it's always satisfying to get the feeling that you made the right choice :)

Well that is without even mentioning how pinched and weird the Coffee, oops I mean Mokka, looks. Postage stamp sized roof and very, very cramped feeling inside. Can only seriously be considered by people thinking of buying an equally small and ugly Nissan Puke.

I was more impressed with the Dacia when I saw it today....The dacia seemed to be more of a honest tough 4x4. The local Renault dealer in hook, seemed to be doing a good job shifting them, then again they don't need to try.

I like the side profile of the Mokka but when you look at it from the front it looks as though it is too narrow for its height. Perhaps they unload them from the ship with a big grabber that squeezes them...

To accommodate 13yr old joyriders no doubt :D

I have just looked at a mokka today, couldn't agree more with the poor build quality , cheap plastics and its very small.

Can really only be compared with a Nissan joke.
