So I am curious what numbers do you guys get. I personaly drive on short 15 kilometers to work and back without any open road on the way and honestly...got a feeling that octy is a smaller conusmer than the 2006 fiesta i had.

Personaly i was expecting bigger consumption seeing that it's a stronger engine but the average of 6.1 / 6.3 l/km is a bit confusing. Can't wait to see what it will show after she gets 400 km of freeway next week

on a long run I will average around 35-40 max

On a short run prob about 25-30

around town anywhere from 16 - 22, long runs I average 37

Pretty much the same as Pitbull69 - I went from 40mpg in my diesel Mondeo to 18mpg round town

Ive managed over 40mpg on a long cruise taking it very steady indeed.

In the two weeks I've owned mine I have made a couple of motorway journeys where I averaged 39mpg but mainly town driving I average about 26-28 and that's mostly stop start short journeys with a mixture of gentle driving and giving it a bit up to about 4k revs

I get around 300 miles to a tank of optimax with alot of town driving

averaged 57mpg on my last 440 miles (2 days of commuting for work), and I wasn't making an effort to save fuel - just getting to my destination quickly (A35, M27, M3), but I am in a diesel :-)

Only done one full tank and that was BP Ultimate, that lasted 271 miles but that was nearly all town driving with a shafted thermostat. Not sure what mpg it's doing until I next fill the tank....it's not a lot I know that haha!

Mines Revo stage 1 and I give it a bootful quite regularly where appropriate.
