Featured Replies

surely the valve itself makes no difference, its the pressure that makes the noise, the only difference the spring will make is at what pressure threshold it opens at

  • OEM is lighter, cheaper and faster reacting. Why do the others sell ? Simples, word of mouth and Forum legends My car is now running a wee bit more power than stock and is still coping well.

  • +1 for OEM. I have a new (well new in December 2012) standard plastic bosch dv fitted to my track vrs. It was mapped to 1.4bar and it holds just fine (infact in 5th on track yesterday I was hitting

Put the original one back on (710) and will see over a few days if its any better. Not that there was a problem with the other!

I wounder if the ebay dv springs are just the same springs painted a different colour ?

Eh?

Na they are different strengths

I fitted a bailey dv30 recirc valve on mine, sounded antiny bit louder than oem but a day later just started causing me issues with boost so reverted back to the boshe part. Tbh it felt much better with the oem boshe part. Its all fraud just stick to standard for reliability! Spend your money elsewhere :D

I have had my forge 007 on for a few months and haven't had any problems with it, sounds good with the carbonio CAI.

So as a matter of idle interest how much do the oem recirc valves cost from the dealer?

£20 or so.

Isn't a LCR or S3 standard dv stronger than the standard 150/180 item? This is what I've always been led to believe...

As far as I know they're the same......

No, the 710N valve is used across platforms.

I think youve been 'led' astray.
