mk1 tid backbox options

Featured Replies

I would like to fit a VRS rear bumper, but want a back box that will look the part, what options are there without breaking the bank

Err you already have a vrs rear bumper, just the hole is missing lol

The vrs rear bumper is exactly the same as other models apart from the hole that needs cutting

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!

I bought the vRS style accessory tail pipe that Skoda supply (or used to) to go with their body kits.

I cut the bumper and fitted the tailpipe to the original exhaust. I looks the part, but now the back bumper gets covered in soot :giggle:

Elephant mod or a catch can will soon sort that out!

Not really.... Soot is unburnt fuel

Not really.... Soot is unburnt fuel

That is what I thought too, but since I did my elephant mod, I have no longer generated any big clouds of smoke, so I assume some of the oil must mix with the unburnt fuel and cause it become "stuck" in the exhaust and then it gets dislodged when your boot it.
