Octy MK2 VRS performance parts (all under 3000K miles!)

Featured Replies

I have for sale, the kit I bought for my 2010 Octavia VRS (TSI)

Unfortunately being offered a company car has meant that I am selling up and so the car is being put back to standard spec

The following parts are for sale and all of them have been on the car for just under 3000 miles (fitted June last year), almost brand new!

The big theme for my car was OEM+

H&R "Cup" suspension kit (35mm drop) (Fits all 1.9 and 2.0 engines) SOLD

Probably one of the best kits for the Octavia for a balance of ride and handling, the car rides better than standard due to superior damping and progressive springs. They lower a VRS by 20mm (35mm on non VRS) and also have Black shocks and springs and so to the untrained eye look very much like the standard ones. H&R source their shocks from Bilsten and Koni and then match them to their spings.

Cost £177, for sale at £120 + £7.50 delivery

ITG "style" intake for TSI 2.0 SOLD

Basically I have a friend who had this made up for his MK6 Golf and then I bought it from him. It is based on ITGs TFSI Maxogen than attaches to the end of the MAF unit where the airbox would go, it goes into a 90 degree bend and then through a high density foam heat isolator and has a genuine ITG Maxogen filter on the end. It looks very much like an ITG set up below. In this picture, you can see the filter and then a 90 degree bend, this one I have is just the filter, 90 bend and not the part in Red + all silocone hoses needed to fit the end of the MAF on the TSI and the foam isolator with a aluminium backing plate (looks trick)

When tested on my car, the airflow went from 194 on standard box to 227 which is on par with most other top end filters with a remap.

Not sure how to price this, the filter alone costs £60 from ITG and is like new. I paid £160 so for sale at £100
