skud vrs black and green creation

Featured Replies

So I have finally decided to do a build thread on the car.

I bought my 2004 black magic mk1 Octavia vrs in December 2006 with 14k on the clock.

My previous vrs had cruise control, as I missed it I had Alex lawrie Skoda in Liverpool fit it for me.

The car stayed standard until 2010 when my front anti roll bar bushes packed in.

This is where the forum started to cost me lots of money (thanks briskoda)

So a golf r32 front and a neuspeed 28mm rear anti roll bar was fitted.

Later on in 2010 came the shark stage 1 map what a difference. Car was running 207hp at sharks rolling road.

2011 saw the addition of kW variant 1 coilovers and poly bushes throughout, along with miltek turbo back exhaust.

2012 I bought an awesome set of 18” team dynamic pro race 1.2 rims.

A 2nd hand forge front mount intercooler purchased and another trip to shark HQ for the stage 2 map. This time an issue with the turbo actuator saw the car only make 217hp.

I also got the mk4 golf leather recaro interior much better quality than the standard seats.

2013 has been the most expensive year so far I let Clive from cntuning loose on my car. After lots of e mails we decided on the following, wavetrac lsd, 4 pot brembos, n249 delete, sai removed, silicone pipe work and lots of shiny bits. Also a few tweaks on the stage 2 map. Only problem is Clive did such a good job the car is booked in for more work.

Quick update.

Getting blue smoke. Just occasionally the odd puff. And once when pulled away from traffic lights I covered the car behind in blue smoke.

Something is failing. :'(

Blue smoke is oil, so check your level.

Worst case, your piston rings will be worn but could be valve stem oil seals too.

or turbo, welcome to the blue club seems to be growing fast :D

Yea gutted. And after spending so much money on the car this year.

I'm sure I will sort it and make it better along the way.

Its not that bad at moment but at the point it needs turbo etc then we have a plan ;-)

Awesome car

Car behaving its self at the moment. Just going to drive it and wait for the issue to get worse.

As Clive said we have a plan. Let's call it the 3month plan. ;)

Gave car a good workout at castle combe yesterday.

Really need some grippy front tyres.

The car handled really well and most important no smoke. :)
