hope it went to a good home and good luck on the new forum

OP, tell me more why you went for the KUGA?

I'm looking in a similar direction, also, due to the lack of significant change in the Superb. (Even in the facelift)

the main reason for me was i needed to get a car that was higher to help me get in and out with my bad back.

so after looking at all the cars like the i35 .kia sportage, ext we decided on the mk2 kuga for the modern looks inside and out seamed just a good all round package.we have bought the titanium x awd with powershift with all the toys, and i mean all.

Yep. Well wear

The interior looks very similar to a C Max I drove today, looked pretty well built, but not to my taste at all.

hi gismo

what did you not like then.one of the things i liked was the full length panoramic electric sun roof with a electric sun blind in the kuga, and the way it drove and the high driving position.

I hated the amount of silver aluminium trim (fine in a sports car but not in a family car IMO) it was decent quality and didn't appear to be painted plastic, which is good, but looked out of place.

Most of the buttons (steering wheel etc) have no identification on them so their use is trial and error.

Was not keen on the indicator/wiper stalks either.

The steering was very light at motorway speeds.

There were very few rattles after 35k miles (61 plate) although there was one coming from just behind the passenger seat that was loud and annoying (it was not SWMBO - I was the only one in the car).

I am personally not a lover of full length sunroofs - this car didn't have one anyway,

Like I say it seemed well built just the interior styling was lacking for me.

i suppose its a bit like marmite and bovril, the interior was won of the things i really liked but it was the way it drove that i really liked vary good high driving position took me back to my truck driving days i suppose.

when i get the car i will give you a bell and pop in one day we are often down your way in the summer you can have a test drive.
