Never, ever thought i'd buy a SKODA

Featured Replies

Greetings Folks

" I've bought a SKODA "

Four words I never thought would pass my lips - ever.

Well, I have - and I LOVE it !

vRS 2.0 Diesel PD 170 - OOOssshhhh

I sold my Vectra Sri ( 200bhp ) and dont regret it for a second. Why on earth didn't I do this sooner !

Awesome power, smooth, comfortable suspension, great road holding, brill seats, HUGE boot, etc, etc, etc

Had it 2 days now and looking forward to driving it in the morning - OR do I need to nip to the shops tonight,,, again :-)

Only one query though, there is a bit of a " rumble " noise coming from what appears to be the NSF wheel / tyre. Sounds like the starting of a dodgy wheel bearing - any ideas ? Turning up the stereo hides it.

Happy motoring

Eric

Hi Eric, have you checked your tyre, search "sawtoothing" before parting cash on mechanical bits

I have booked it in to Skoda for a 4 wheel alignment on monday - they can set it up or see if it is a wheel bearing issue.

Either way it needs fixing .

Will keep you all informed.

Thanks

Eric
