Audi tt seat advice

Featured Replies

Ive just bought some leather tt seats for the fabia, i know a few people have fitted them, just a quick few questions, how is the hight compared to the fabia vrs seats im short enough at the mo and dont realy want to have trouble seeing over the wheel lol, ill be using 6mm plate to fit them, and what thread bolts are holding the standard seats in, saves me taking one out and checkin it to get longer ones cheers guys ????

You'll need a spline socket bit to remove the old seats. I bought a cheap set off eBay. I would advise to replace the spline bolts with normal bolts or cap heads as spline bolts tend to round off.

You'll need to chop the wired raised lugs off the front of the runners too or find another work around as the part they bolt to in the fabia is flat.

Cheers guys but i realy need to know if they will sit around the same hight as the vrs seats or will i have to space them up??

Mine are still being worked on so i couldn't say just yet.

I know that they were fitted using the swap method rather than the metal work amendment method but both my Golf Recaros and Jonnyy's Octavia half leather actually sit higher than the standard seats.

Yes i find my knee bangs on the steering column alot more now! Had to raise the wheel and lower the seat!
