Octavia 1.6 ambiente 2003 leaking rad

Featured Replies

Hello, just discovered this evening that my engine is leaking water from the radiator area.

Anyone know the cost of a rad replacement for this? thankyou

My local garage changed the timing belt last year and did not change the water pump as they said it was not needed.

The time before the skoda garage changed both the timing belt and the pump as they said that is what they do.

I hope the leak is not linked to this.

water pumps are more likely to fail than leak, imho.

Dunno about that, when I did the cambelt and changed the water pump the mechanic showed me where the pump had been leaking from

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!
