Hi guys

I just found these seats and just want to make sure they will fit before I bite the bullet and buy them, they are from a 2007 fabia estate, can any one confirm that they will fit straight into my 2004 fabia VRS, also can anyone give me there honest opinion on weather or not they will be a nice replacement for the standard seats in my black magic vRS, and what I should expect to pay for them? All opinions welcomed !!!!

Id buy them, i dont know if they will fit though as i have no clue about seats :) but i saw a set of fabia seats on ebay sorta the same going for like £150 so im guessing around that mark? Possibly more if they are in good nick?

They are the seats from the sports package and will go straight in. They would fetch good money as they are saught after. Dead comfy, my ar*e has been sat on one for 220,000 km.

If I told you they were mint and were going to set me back £350 would you call me a mugg?

Be honest now :wonder:

I would love a set but could never pay £350 :o

couldn't or wouldn't?

They started out at 450 but managed to haggle down to 350 inc P+P, got to admit I thought 250 would get me something good...

just can't find anything else, the drivers seat outer bolster on my standard seats is nackered and the wire support is starting to push through, does my head in !!

any suggestion on alternatives, i'm guessing re-upholstery wont be much cheaper.

Both lol. I am a tight git though. If they are pefrect and i had the spare cash maybe i could part ways as i think they arebthe best standard seats for the fabia.

By all accounts they do seem popular and very sought after, I can always sell my old ones to justify it, now i just need to convince the boss, she aint gonna like it.....

Yer didnt think of getting a good chunk of money back for the original seats. I always half the price when i tell mine haha.

Yer you're right dishonesty is always the best policy! any idea what I could expect to get for my old seats they in good nick except for a tired bolster and a small tare in the cover?

If they are mint then I've seen them go for a good bit more than £350 before now. Why don't you have a look through some of the retrims on the forum to help you in making your mind up? Leather isn't really my thing these days..(last car I had with leather interior was the FB Victor!!) but you might think throwing a bit extra into your seats would be money well spent.

Of course, you could keep your original seats in the loft, swap them back when you move the car on again and if the sports seats are still in good nick you should still get a nice lump back if you sold them on.

Ummm...... hard to decide, I was considering a re-trim, my only issue is I will need replacement bolsters for the drivers seat, plus new cloth throughout, not interested in cow skin, maybe I'll get some quotes before making the big decision, just can't imagine getting a full re-trim down here in not so sunny Cornwall for less than 350 bucks....

Hi guys guess what.... Still looking for new seats for the Fab VRS , just couldn't get the fab sport seats past the missus..... have just found some nice looking Ibiza seats at a local breakers, one set - post-99332-0-71250300-1364900325.jpg from a 2007 post-99332-0-50850100-1364900361.jpg and another post-99332-0-16563000-1364900430.jpg from a 2008 post-99332-0-96687300-1364900460.jpg, can anyone confirm the seats from the later shape ibiza will fit the 2004 VRS?

Yes the later ones will fit mate, I'd go for it based on how supportive the front seats were!

Why'd you decide against those sport seats? I toyed with the idea but couldn't justify £350-400!

If I'd brought those sport seats my missus would have left me and she pays half the mortgage!!!!!! Managed to get them down to £350 but the seller wouldn't budge from that, The Ibiza seats are only £200, not as nice but at least I don't have to get an second job

Seats seat material is rubbish. Cheap materials in most seats :(

What was I'm my Ibiza FR seemed good quality!

To be honest the stantard VRS seats arn't great either, I dont recon the Seat seats could be much worse, I' ve got metal work from the seat frame coming through my drivers side outer bolster, hense the need for new seats.

Seat seats. I like saying that lol
