Turbo cars can now sound good.

Featured Replies

After watching a video on the amazing 6 wheel drive merc i then saw this on autocar. Ignoring everything else about the article i was delighted that it now seems possible to make turbo 4cyl cars sound really good. That renault sounds amazing.

I have never hankered after a renault before but somehow i really fancy this little car purely due to the noise it makes. Hopefully other manufacturers follow suit and can engineer some decent induction noise into their new cars more. I belive the new fiesta ST does something similar but i havent heard a clip of that yet.

All good news as far as im concerned.

BTW you need to give it a few minutes before the engine sounds can be heard.

The Renault is ok but Sutcliffe said the dual clutch is a bit slow. It does sound good though! Apparently also you can play old Renault Alpine/f1 engine sounds etc through the stereo :)
