Quick sidelight/LED question

Featured Replies

I originally bought these for my interior maplights and they work great

I bought another set for my sidelights and, although they're good enough I wanted a bit more light so went for these:

Went to fit them and they're great - right up to the point that the front is a tiny bit too wide to fit through the hole in the headlamp. If I got a file and opened it up a little, would it stop the bulb holder from staying in place? Anyone had to do this?

Cheers,

Try to get LEDs that have a base wider than the actual cluster of LEDs. It'll be fine then.

Search ebay for SMD 9 led 501
