Hi I have a creak as i go over bumps and hoped to get it diagnosed on its MOT but it passed

I looked underneath and could see damage to the console bushes, been and got a couple of quotes but most people want to swap the entire arm as they are a pian to remove.

Current best quote is £387 with free alignment

I know loads of you have overcome this issue, could you recommend somewhere relatively locally I can go without having my pants pulled down ?

I swapped the drop links, console bushes, wishbones and ball joints for under £100 DIY. The only reason it cost that much was I used Powerflex bushes for an easy DIY install with no special tools required. Have a look in the technical guides section, it's a straight forward and simple job.

Had a look on autoroute - it's more like 67miles .I'd suggest giving Ally an e mail .You might get a pleasant surprise ,and I'd suggest that it's less than 90 mins too . But overall ,they will only change what need changing.
