2005 silver fabia vrs HYBRID 208bhp 317lbs ft - 1 Previous owner! FSH

Featured Replies

Hi all. Very reluctantly selling my 2005 55' plate Fabia vRS as I am needing a bigger family car. I bought this car standard from my father in law back in October 2011 and I have loved every minute of owning it.

Very quick car that hasn't been thrashed to within an inch of its life. Never been track raced or drag strip thrashed. I generally cruise at 60 mph to and from work on the motorway so hasn't been thrashed. Most of the miles has been motorway miles by myself and previous owner.

FSH by skoda up to 18 months ago then serviced very regularly and properly by myself there after, all logged in book.

Properly mapped to 208bhp 317lbs ft and still manages 50+ MPG on motorway cruises even in the cold winters. It has been faultless .

I always, always let the turbo cool after use. When driving spiritedly I always make sure engine and turbo have been warmed up.

Details

2005 55' plate Skoda Fabia vRS 1.9 tdi with ASZ engine(originally 130 bhp)

Silver

119000 miles with FSH plenty of skoda stamps in book. Mileage rising as daily car

Tax - September 2013 (£135 per year)

Test - September 2013

1 previous owner! Previous mentioned father in law.

Cambelt changed in March 2012

Fully serviced by myself in February 2013 all work carried out by Skoda, Redline tuning Essex and myself, at least then I know its done properly etc.

Engine

Turbo Dynamics Stage 2 Hybrid Garret MD376 Turbo

Braided oil feed to turbo, no chance of clogging and killing the turbo.

FMIC with blue Silicone and Stainless Steel Hoses

Stadard EGR which has been mapped closed to prevent soot build up.

Redline Essex Custom Remap with 208 bhp & 317 lbs ft, nice smooth clutch friendly remap custom made for my car, none of this plug n play maps from a laptop which spike badly and end up causing untold damage. The car is mapped by way of a removable Dastek unichip piggy back ecu details can be found here http://www.redlinetu...?info_id=134782 and is hidden away in the airbox.

Brakes

Front are taken from mk1 Skoda Octavia so are 312mm, much bigger than standard.

Plenty of life left all round.

Exterior

All standard except fog lights have been removed to allow for FMIC pipework

Interior

Cruise Control

Freshly valeted all round inside

Seats are perfect no rips tears or sagging

Also has the optional under tray in front passenger seat, handy for extra storage

Optional Rubber matt for the boot

Looking for around £4,500 ovno.

Only bad point I can think of is light scratch on drivers side front panel and wheels have been curbed when parking nothing horrendous.

wowza i would love that but sadly i need a diesel due to my work commute, not unless it does 50 mpg's at all :giggle: . Look forward to speaking to you soon hopefuly

i can get 35mpg but thats no boost so no fun haha. If possible would i be able to come up and be passenger of test drive, i dont mind sorting you a tenner or something but i need to be sure i wanna sell me 260bhp st in for something less juicy so i can start saving up to move out with me other half. My st in for MOT tomorrow so will have 13 months for the lucky new owner then will consider putting it on ebay,

are you running a standard clutch?

also how many miles has it been running this set up. cheers

Thanks buddy. Like i said a few changes from my original post on this thread but that a ligjt scuff on drivers side front wing. Bumper had a couple of flakey bits of paint and the interior isnt valleted but still fine. Pics on request.

Has your freedom membership recently run out?

As you must have been when listed, no biggie I guess.

Mate im shocked, this is a complete project, how many people are going to throw thousands at another car and this one is already done and proven :@
