Removing interior plastics

Featured Replies

Easy to get off? Any arts that's not possible? Onyl becuase i think I want a 'carbon effect' on them. i was thinking about hydro-dipping, but due to them not being able to do red WHITE & black camo it's not getting done. So what interior parts (mainly the centre console) can be remvoed.

1. Surround around the stereo.

Surround around the gear lever, the 2 pieces of trim either side of the heater controls, 1 with the heated rear window switch in.

Not too sure about the heater vent surrounds or whether they come out as 1 with the vanes etc.

Everything can be removed, depending only on how much effort and time you wish spend doing it or money for others to do it for you :)

If you want to emabrk on this project I think all who done it were saying that it is essential to invest in a good se of interior trim removal tools - plenty around to be had.

So a lot of time & patience need to be taken then?

Unless you've done many times before so it will take you much shorter compared to if it was your very first time. Or just rip out all the retaining clips :)

Centre console is 'easy' to remove in the Roomster/Fabia II, as are the directional air vents at each end of the dash.

Overhead courtesy light, sunglasses holder/alarm sensor blank is also straightforward.

I've not tackled the console between the seats around gear stick yet, not had the need too :giggle:
