Salaam, to be Skoda Owner (Fabia Estate or Rapid)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Looking to buy a second car for our family for the wife. Looking for something pretty new but spacious (especially the boot) so looking for either a Fabia Estate SE or a Rapid S. I've been offered two examples at around the same price.

Not seen a Rapid yet, briefly saw a Fabia Estate and was impressed with the size of it inside, but I must admit (and I've already been in the Rapid section) I am leaning towards the Rapid ...

Comments welcome!

Thanks.

Went to my local dealers this morning and I was impressed with the Rapid, much more so than the Fabia Estate. Granted it was an SE (I was planning on an S) but the additional space in the boot and inside swayed it for me.

So looking for a Rapid now, I have the opportunity to get an S at a good price but I'm going to try and see what I can get SE wise.

Since u seriously considering the Rapid now,

Then get yourself onto the Rapid section and u will get more replies there:

I sat in the Rapid.

Not impressed :-(

Though i am coming from a Superb.

But for the money, u do get huge spaces for the Rapid.

Good luck!

Thanks for replies, and I have posted in the Rapid forums now although it's not really an "enthusiasts" section since 98% of people that post there don't like it :)

I am looking for new, I have found a Pre-Reg 13 plate S for £10k which I am tempted by. It's about my budget however if I could get an SE for just a little more I probably would.

LOL

At the end of the day, if there s nothing major wrong with the Rapid,

the most important thing is "u" like it :-)
