These part numbers still are valid? what oil to use :)

Featured Replies

Hey Guys/Girls,

Just wanted to ask you if these part numbers still are valid? If not then perhaps you could help a guy out with the new part numbers :-)

Oil Filter - 071 115 562 C

Air Filter - 1K0 129 620 D

Pollen Filter - 1K2 319 652 B ( Charcoal Type)

They will go into a nice candy white Skoda Octavia VRS 2010 :hi:

My car was manufactured 2010/08 if that does matter.

Any good sites in the uk that ship genuine skoda parts to us up north? (Sweden)

Also what oil do you recommend? I saw some posts on other sites about heavy oil usage with the castrol and they changed to Shell Helix ultra extra and reported

reduced or zero oil usage when switching to the Shell (from a heavy oil usage with the castrol).

Thanks guys!

My local dealer still uses Castrol, but there is a Shell Helix sticker on the slam panel.

I don't think brand is that important, as long as the specification VW 507.00 is listed on the container you are good.
