Verdicts on pikey mods?

whats your virdict on the pikey mods? did mine the other day and i think it is alot smother and seams to pull alot better for longer. not a massive difference but its there. and it deffinatly keeps the performace as it should be on a warm day. dont know about you lot but on a very warm day my car always seamed slow. not any more. :thumbup:

Did the wheelarch mod today and yep, reckon it's worth it. I used the vent from the Ibiza and the engine feels more sparky. Outside temp was 29.5 yet the rev counter needle spun round the dial faster than I remember it doing before. Could be placebo of course, but I think not...

Absolutely anything that gets that hot air OUT of the engine bay has to be good. It sure slows the car down otherwise :)

Regrettably no, it isn't a straight swap - but at least the Ibiza one is curved to the same inner shape as the Fabia liner, so it fits snugly.

got mine from audi, off the tt. cost 18 quid and done in about an hour. you dont even need to take the wheel off. im tryin to get some pics but havin a bit of trouble with my blue tooth conputor thingy!! i send the pics then loose them on the comp. :confused: :confused: :confused:

No way you could fit the Ibiza one without taking the wheel off - in fact no way without taking the wheelarch liner off! You must have arms made of rubber...

trust me mate i took the liner off the other week without removin the wheel!! the is only two screws at the back and there not that hard to get to. :thumbup:
