Blumin pot holes

Featured Replies

Hit a pot hole last night due to being forced to decide wether to hit an oncoming car or snow bank to avoid it at 40 so i decided to go for the less of 3 evils.....sadly it was evil and now my steering wheel is on the slant quite noticeably. (normaly the horisontals are at 3 and 9 and now its tiletd to the left so point at about 8 and 2) Plus the steering lock it locks in that posistion

The thing is however when the steering wheel is straight the car tracks straight fine, so what do you guys reeccon i have bent track rod? steering arm?

plus theres some play in the steering now

Ideally I'd have it up in the air check visually underneath and possibly with a pry bar see if anything moves if all looks ok I'd go and have the tracking done

However I'd check the wheel too no doubt That's warped

Bit of a bummer for you dude hope you get it sorted

i shall take it to my mates garage today....the pothole is still in the road mocking me....may take a photo and claim off the council....the entire road looks like a bomb site

Be very quick to take a photo if its not got a yellow mark around it buy today's newspaper take a photo with the paper next to the pothole to prove the date then take photos of the pothole with a tape measure showing how long deep and wide it is and the council should pay out

It's worth it we all pay road tax !
