Passenger door UNLOCKS with keyfob double press

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I have fabia Estate 1.4 2004 registered. When i tried to close the door with a single press on keyfob, it works normal with all door locks. However when i press the keyfob twice, it lock all the door except passenger door (will lock and Unlock).

Does any one know why the Door lock system behaves like this?

Thanks,

Arun

I have a solution. :) Press the lock button once only (as you are meant to)

It's possible the door switch is faulty though. Does the unlocking do all doors with one click? Is selective unlocking still activated?

ya..thats what iam doing now ..just one press.. it unlock with one press..What you meant by selective unlocking?

I had to double press mine at first to unlock the passenger door. It's a feature that's chosen at the dealers.

You can get it changed via vcds so all doors unlock with one press of the button

i have got the same problem press the button then have to press a second time to open the rest of the doors but sometimes the passenger door will not open and jam
