Just a quick question that has probably been asked before, I have the "Service Now!" message with a loud bleep, how do I reset it on a MK II Fabia vRS?

If on variable you'll need a dealer or VCDS.

Can't the garage doing the service do it?

Quite straightforward if you go into the menu.

I take it this is the car with the new engine installed?

Gadgetman, our Fabia has done 6,000 miles in two years, as it was an oil usage issue car, last year we had four oil changes the last being done in November, since then a thousand miles have been covered and the dealer wants £230 for a service, I asked for oil and filter to left off the service but they still want £159 for a visual inspection and a pollen filter!

I have had the book stamped by an independent garage and just need to turn the reminder off.
