Rear light confusion

Featured Replies

I've recently had light bulb symbol come up on my dash and the only one ive noticed out is the one at the bottom of the back right cluster which is the sidelight however when i turn fog lights on it lights up!! I Have checked the fuses and seem all there and fine! Not sure if being daft but need a bit of help

Are you sure its not a brake light issue?

Replace the bulb that is not working .. it is a twin filament bulb so the sidelight filement has blown but the foglight filement is not blown :)

Or, just don't use the lights.....

Yeah, its not like he needs to be seen on the road is it? Lights are only there for show.

Changed the bulb and still not working also went through fuses and checked any I could think of being related and all good! Any ideas???

Check the contacts in the bulb holder for power with a voltmeter, if no power then you may have a break in the feed wire of a faulty earth wire.

If you cannot resolve it, disconnect the faulty wire and simply run a wire from the other rear lamp cluster.
