hi guys..got the fabia vrs at the moment and am getting rather bored as im a petrolhead at heart haha

i need a car decent size nothing too small fairly quick, i do about 40 miles on the a2 so steady 65/70mph 5 days a week.

how do the 1.8t engines fair on mpg?

and the octavias?

Octavia 1.8TSi is a cracking car and is great fun to drive.

I ran mine for 2 years and 100,000 miles and it always put a smile on my face.

Normal running I was getting 38-40 mpg ( read lead foot ) but on a steady run I managed to squeeze 48 mpg.

Fiat panda, low power and low grip according to James may = fun lol

i had thought about the new shape fabia. how reliable are the engines at that age/mileage? how do they compare to the 1.8t models?

I did 100,000 miles in 2 years and it drove like new I had it from new and it was replaced last sept.

Go and drive one.

like any car if looked after it will last years.

Nice 8L Audi s3 if 1.8turbo 225bhp Quattro good spec getting a bit rare and easily get a nice one for lass than 3.5k and fairly tasty to insure

yeh i do like them a lot but how juicy are they? haha
