My missus runs an 09 plate FL 1.8 TSi Eleg, I love it when she asks if she can take the Berb! :giggle:

I like mine very much, it's a solid feeling well equipt car, however a bit thirstier than the official figs state..

Be prepared to be smiling on the way home...

It is a car that has surprised everyone who has been inside and many who have been left behind too.

Make sure you check the oil level once a week

Well it's home now,sat on the drive behind my mk1 Octavia. I must say what a fantastic engine!!! So flexible,quiet too. Even the missus is impressed,thanks for the heads up on the oil too..

Yeah been a few threads on the consumption...

Some do and some don`t use oil

Mine is about a litre per 6 months/6,000 miles but i do thrash it every once in a while!
