fabia vrs boot release

Featured Replies

does the vrs have a boot release with the cental looking because my fabia sdi only has the release inside the car and its a bloody waste of time if i open the boot ready to put the dog in and shut the drivers door it always half locks the boot so you got to pull the catch again its a nightmare the tailgate needs a handle to open rather than a release only from inside cheers it will deffinately put me off buying a vrs if its the same set up

my fabia vrs opens the boot for you when i press the middle button on the fob.

hope this kinda answers what you're asking.

Fabia vrs's have a button on the boot itself to release it, its located where the number plate lights are in the middle.... you have to feel underneath and theres a rubber pad that you press on.....

my sisters tdi is the same... the car has to be fully unlocked for the button on the boot to operate.

i.e ..my Fabia Vrs is be fully locked during shopping, when we come out of Tescos with a trolley load i just press the middle button on the fob and the boot opens for us.

but yes i can open it manually as you describe where the number plate lights are with the rubber touch pad.
