VRS TSI 2010 engine warning light on

Featured Replies

The yellow engine warning light came on today. The car is running OK so it's not causing a problem other than being on. The car has done 24000 miles and was serviced about 3 weeks ago at a Skoda dealer. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what advice can you give?

......after I got the car home, the sun was out so I took my MX5 out for a run. The same light t hen came on in the MX5........couldn't believe it!

Could be a number of things John, best have the codes read...on the Mazda too :D

Started the car today and no light! Just driven over 100 miles and it's still off. Great in one sense, but I'm curious why it came on. I hope the same happens with the MX5.

means the fault that caused the light has not reoccured. the fault code will still be stored though, so if it was me i'd get the code read (dealer or someone who has diagnostic kit/vcds) for peace of mind.
