Friends have had a fabia 1.4 for 6 months now and the display is showing service OIL , is this just for the oil or is it telling them to have a service . If this is a service any idea for the cost at 52000 . thanks . :confused:

The car needs an annual inspection so if he is covering 20k in a year, then he can just have a "lube" service which is basically an oil change. If he's not, then he can either have a lube service now and an inspection service later in the year, or do it all at this service.

My lube service cost me 70 quid (diesel) and my 80k (lube + inspection) I was quoted around 250 quid....
