I have a Skoda Octavia (2012 new)

Anyone know how to work the Cornering Lights?

And how to work the daytime running light?

I tried through the maxidot but it's not in there ..

This model 1.2TSI Elegance with all additions ..

I was told something about vag-com, but I have no idea what this is ..

They will need to be activated using a piece of software called VCDS (used to be called VAG-COM)

Here is the map of all owners of this software who would do this, find your closest person then message them.

I got mine from Gendan: http://www.gendan.co.uk/. The fleabay cheap rip offs do not work you need the genuine item for full functionality.

If you bought from a Skoda dealer you could just ask them to activate it for you.

As above, the dealer can activate this using their diagnostic equipment (although a lot still don't know how!).

Once they have activated them the option for you to turn them on and off appears in Maxidot.

I'd hope that if you can get back to the supllying delaer they'd do it for free, if not a nominal charge should apply, it oesn't take more than a few minutes once plugged in.

This applies to both the DRL's and cornering foglights.

I don't think you will get cornering lights in the Maxidot once activated. I don't on my 2011 vRS.
